Volkswagen Golf TwinDrive zero emissions has been presented at an automotive forum in Berlin by Dr. Martin Winterkorn - chairman of Volkswagen AG.
As a result of cooperation between VW and the German government, the Volkswagen Golf TwinDrive features a new electric propulsion system and can be fueled at any electrical outlet.

The Volkswagen Golf TwinDrive aiming project is to fleet test the new vehicle that is capable of running for around 50 km on a single charge.

Twenty units of the Volkswagen Golf TwinDrive will be tested by VW with the goal of putting it into production by year 2010.
