Volkswagen Golf Plus BiFuel has been unveiled at the 2009 AMI in Leipzig. Volkswagen Golf Plus BiFuel can be operated with either Autogas or LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). However, Volkswagen Golf Plus BiFuel also can be easily switched to run on gasoline.

Volkswagen Golf Plus BiFuel has been crash tested with all its fuel tanks and it will offers a 10 percent reduction in CO2 emissions when it run on LPG.

Volkswagen Golf Plus BiFuel on LPG models may develops 72 kW / 98 PS, consumes 9.8 liters of LPG per 100 kilometers and has a 159 g/km CO2 emissions level.

Volkswagen Golf Plus BiFuel engine has been adapted to work on LPG. The advantage when using this model, it has a longer life than gasoline-only developed engines that run on LPG.
