Studiotorino Coupetorino Mercedes SL will be premiered at the Turin World Design Capital 2008. Studiotorino Coupetorino Mercedes SL is a non-profit project that has goal to build a coupe while keeping the identity of the SL and add a touch of Italian flair.
Studiotorino Coupetorino Mercedes SL project was presented at the Mercedes Design Center in Como to Professor Peter Pfeiffer, and it was done in collaboration with Istituto di Arte Applicata e Design (IAAD).
Studiotorino Coupetorino Mercedes SL project includes a 1:4 scale maquette which was modeled by Alfredo Stola. The base 1:4 scale model of the SL that was later re-modeled was supplied by Mercedes.
Studiotorino Coupetorino Mercedes SL will be premiered on December 12, 2008 in the “Bespoke Coachwork” exhibit at Turin Gallery.
