Volkswagen Pickup Concept
Volkswagen Pickup concept is a four-door four seater vehicle with 5.18 meters in length and 1.9 meters wide that had its debut at the IAA in Hanover. Designed to be a ‘Search and Rescue’ (SAR) vehicle by lifeguards, the Volkswagen Pickup concept features all the necessary equipment of the job.
Volkswagen Pickup concept aims to set new standards in the 1 -tonne class, and it will go into production at the end of 2009. The Volkswagen Pickup concept’s production will be built in Argentina and will be sold in Europe, South America, South Africa and Australia.
Volkswagen Pickup is powerful, clean and efficient and meets the necessary emissions requirements as it house a range of common rail turbodiesel engines under the bonnet.
