2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid Car

Toyota has unveiled the new generation of the 2010 Toyota Prius at the 2009 NAIAS. Powered by a 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine, 2010 Toyota Prius may develops more torque.

2010 Toyota Prius is rated at a 50-mile-per gallon fuel economy and can run a lower revs on the highway. With this results, we know that 2010 Toyota Prius offers a lower fuel consumption.

With a new Hybrid Synergy Drive system that has been re-designed by 90 percent, 2010 Toyota Prius also comes with a new exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, and a new electric water pump.

Toyota Prius (2010) is included with the safety equipment such as Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Electronic Traction Control (TRAC).

2010 Toyota Prius will be put on sale in spring. Unfortunately, the company does not disclose any information yet about the 2010 Toyota Prius pricing.

Toyota TF109 Race Car

Toyota TF109 race car which will compete in the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship has been unveiled by Toyota. This racing car has been designed to get the first grand prix victory for the Japanese carmaker.

Powered by a 2.4 liter V8 engine coupled with a 7-speed gearbox, Toyota TF109 may develops around 740 hp and reach a maximum speed of 18,000 rpm (limited by FIA regulations).

Mazda Kaan - LA Auto Show 2008 Design Challenge Winner

Mazda Kaan has been announced as the LA Design Challenge Winner at LA Auto Show this year. With an unique design, this electric race car features a patented electronic tire system to reach 250 mph with zero emissions.

Mazda Kaan is driven by one pilot, but it involves a new race type which features teams of up to 30 drivers.

With the theme Motor Sports 2025, the LA Design Challenge this year involved designers from nine of Southern California’s automotive design studios.
