Suzuki Alto Unveiled

Suzuki Alto has been unveiled at the Paris auto Show after its previous announcement in August according to this car news.

Suzuki Alto will be available with a choice between a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox, and powered by a 1.0 liter petrol engine that outputs 68PS at 6,000 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm.

Suzuki Alto offers a 62.7mpg fuel economy and a 103g/km CO2 emissions level, and it’s included in Euro 5 compliant car.

Suzuki Alto will be launched in spring 2009 in Europe, and the Suzuki Alto price will be announced at a later date.

Suzuki Swift GS (2008) Limited Edition

Suzuki has released the details of the new 2008 Suzuki Swift GS limited edition. Powered by the 1.3-liter engine, the 2008 Suzuki Swift GS outputs 68 kW / 92 hp.

Suzuki Swift GS (2008) comes equipped with a range of accessories and special decals, that makes the possibility to personalize the car by adding a range of decals in a retro, flag, or rally style.

Suzuki Swift Hits 1 Million Production

Suzuki has announced that Japanese manufacturer has already produced more than 1 million units of Suzuki Swift worldwide for less than 1 year. This Suzuki compact supermini was built for the first time in Japan, and was later built in China, Hungary, India, Indonesia and Malaysia.

The top of the range Suzuki Swift Sport comes equipped with a sports-tuned chassis and powered by a 1.6-litre VVT engine.

According to the success of the Suzuki Swift production, Suzuki will applied the same strategy for the Suzuki Alto. The strategy will be applied to Suzuki Alto next year, while for the Suzuki Kizashi will be given the same strategy in 2010.
