Hyundai has made announcement that the launch date of its new luxury sedan, codenamed VI, will be at February 2009.
The 2009 Hyundai VI luxury sedan will be available upon launch with either a 3.8-liter Lambda V6 engine or a 4.6-liter Tau V8 powerplant. There will also be a 5.0-liter variant of the Tau engine available for the new 2009 Hyundai VI luxury sedan that will come in the second half of the next year.
The 2009 Hyundai VI will showcase the brand’s most advanced technology including a second-generation Vehicle Stability Management System (VSM2), a Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and a Pre-Safety Seatbelt System.
The 2009 Hyundai VI luxury sedan will be sold only on the Korean markets with no plans for the U.S. and European ones.

Lotus Eigne concept car was designed to be more practical than the usual vehicles from Lotus, like the Lotus Exige and Lotus Elise.
Lotus Eigne concept car was designed by a 2008 graduate of the Transportation Design Course at Northumbria University, England - David Fearnley.
Lotus Eigne is based around a 1+3 seating layout, with the driver in a central position, the Lotus Eigne can accommodate 3 adults and one baby seat. A spacious luggage area can be accessed through the rear hatch at the rear.

Nissan officially revealed the 2009 Nissan Maxima at the New York Auto Show. The 2009 Nissan Maxima is developing 290 hp and 261 lb-ft of torque, since powered by a revised VQ35 3.5-liter V6 engine. The engine of the is coupled with an Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with standard Ds and manual modes that is also available with paddle shifters.
The 2009 Nissan Maxima will be available in dealerships starting this summer and will come in two trim levels: 3.5 S and 3.5 SV.
