GM Chaparral Volt Concept

GM Chaparral Volt concept was designed for the 2025 revival of the LA Times Grand Prix. This amazing concept was created for the 2008 LA Auto Show Design Challenge.

GM Chaparral Volt uses advanced EREV propulsion, energy collection, generation and management system to create an entirely new category of racing - the eco-triathlon.

GM Chaparral Volt collects and generates its own energy from three different clean, renewable and abundant California resources: Earth, Wind and Fire.

Audi (Auto Union) Type-D Concept Car

Audi (Auto Union 2008) Type-D concept car is a creation of Lukas Vanek, a young designer from the Czech Republic. In 2008 Vanek graduated from the Europeo di Design (IED) in Torino, Italy after completing a three year postdiploma transportation design course. Prior to these studies Vanek had finished a masters course in industrial design at the TBU university in Zlin, where he was awarded a scholarship to study at IED.

The 2008 Audi (Auto Union) Type-D concept was inspired by the old Auto Union race cars from the 1930s. These cars, piloted by some of the best racing drivers in the world, were at the cutting edge of automotive technology. The supercharged engines developed nearly 550 horsepower, and could spin the rear wheels at over 100 mph. In the hands of drivers like Hans Stuck, Tazio Nuvolari, and Bernd Rosemeyer Auto Union cars won many Grand Prix races.

Goodwood Earls Court Motor Show

The recreation of the classic London Motor Show that was held after the War at Earls Court has been announced by Goodwood.

The Goodwood Earls Court Motor Show will give visitors an insight into how motoring of the future might look from a pre-1966 perspective, with a display of “futuristic” 21st century cars. Each stand of the Goodwood Earls Court Motor Show will be styled like one of the shows from of the 1950s or 1960s.

The Goodwood Earls Court Motor Show also featuring a concours d’elegance organized in collaboration with BGC that will commemorate “the Fastest Car in the World”, featuring around 25 performance cars from the 1920s, right through to the present day.
