Rinspeed iChange



Rinspeed iChange has been unveiled by Rinspeed as the latest project which will make its world debut at the Geneva Auto Show. Comes with 1,050 kg weighs, Rinspeed iChange can transform in seconds from a one-seater sports car to a comfortable car with enough room for three passengers.

Powered by an electric motor, Rinspeed iChange may develops 150kW and reach its top speed at 220 km/h. Rinspeed iChange is able to reach 100 km/h in less than four seconds and features a six-speed pre-selector gearbox from a Subaru WRX.

Rinspeed iChange uses an electrically powered roof section that tilts forward to allow for access to change the purpose of the door. That means Rinspeed iChange comes with interesting design characteristic since it has no door attached.

2008 SEAT Ibiza Details



The new 2008 SEAT Ibiza detailed description has been released by Spanish manufacturer. The 2008 SEAT Ibiza is based on a new platform that lengthens the car’s wheelbase by 7 mm and widens the track, 30 mm more at the front and 33 mm more on the rear.

The 2008 SEAT Ibiza will be available with one out of three petrol engines or a diesel engine:

1.2 12V with 70 hp
1.4 16V with 85 hp
1.6 16V with 105 hp
1.9 TDI with 105 hp.

The 2008 SEAT Ibiza 1.6 16v version outputs 105 hp and 153 Nm of engine torque at 3,800 rpm. The fuel consumption is 6.6 liters per 100 km/h while the CO2 emissions level is 157 g/km.

Powered by a 1.9 liter TDI engine, the diesel version of the 2008 SEAT Ibiza delivers 105 hp and 240 Nm of torque at 1,900 rpm. It features a DPF particulate filter, needs 4.5 liters on average for every 100 km, and maintains CO2 emissions at 119 g/km.

Volvo Hot Rod Jakob



The Volvo Hot Rod Jakob was unveiled in February 2008 at the Volvo Museum in Göteborg, Sweden.

The Hot Rod Jakob is a modern interpretation of the very first series-produced Volvo car. The model was called the ÖV4 (the Swedish abbreviation for Open Car, 4 cylinders), but it soon gained a new pet-name - Jakob.

2005-2006: In Leif Tufvesson’s workshop in the rural south of Sweden, work commenced on the car. After documenting the original Jakob in detail, his company, Caresto, started building a car that developed into Hot Rod Jakob.
