Mercedes announced a new breakthrough in battery technology and managed to integrate a lithium-ion battery into a vehicle.
The Mercedes lithium-ion battery will equip the MercedesS 400 BlueHYBRID starting from 2009. The development of the The Mercedes lithium-ion battery for cars was made possible by 25 patents held by Daimler.
