Koenigsegg Quant Solar Electric Car



Koenigsegg Quant is a four-seater solar electric car which has been unveiled in Geneva by Koenigsegg together with NLV Solar AG. Featuring the FAES (Flow Accumulator Energy Storage) technology, Koenigsegg Quant is enable a full re-charge in just 20 minutes and has a range of 500 km.

Koenigsegg Quant needs just 5.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a stand still and the car is able to develops 512 bhp and 715 Nm of torque. While the top speed of Koenigsegg Quant solar electric car will be at 275 km/h.

The rear-wheel drive Koenigsegg Quant is powered by two electrical AC induction electric motors and features four-wheel brake regeneration, ABS, and ESP.

British Motor Show List of Luxury Cars



A list of the luxury cars have been released by the 2008 British International Motor Show that will be on display in the Heritage Enclosure and Ultimate Collection Public Gallery. A number of tickets have been released by the organizers to give an opportunity for a few lucky visitors to access the exclusive Ultimate Collection section of the show.

Some of the cars on display in the Ultimate Collection include Koenigsegg CCX-R Edition, Pagani Zonda F, and also the Mercedes McLaren SLR that holds the London Land Speed Record.

Koenigsegg CCXR Premiere Edition



The Koenigsegg CCX and CCXR Edition were announced back in November last year, but their public debut will take place at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Powered by a 4.8 liter engine 888 bhp when run on petrol and 1018 bhp when run on E85, the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition has a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 2.9 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The top speed for the Koenigsegg CCX/CCXR Edition is more than 417 km/h.

The Koenigsegg CCX Edition has the same 0-100 km/h acceleration time, but 200 km/h comes just a little slower - 9.2 seconds. The top speed is also lower - 400 km/h.

The Koenigsegg CCX Edition price starts at 1,330,000 Euros and the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition price will be at 1,500,000 Euros.
