The 2009 Pontiac G3 details had been released by GM. The 2009 Pontiac G3 is a sporty, small five-door vehicle that will become available in spring 2009. Powered by a 1.6-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine, the 2009 Pontiac G3 delivers 106 horsepower (79 kW) and offers a 34 mpg fuel consumption.

Pontiac G3 (2009) is coupled with a five-speed manual gearbox and comes optionally with a four-speed automatic transmission.

The 2009 Pontiac G3 promises to offer a generous interior space with room for five adults, “theater” style seating for rear seat passengers. The price of 2009 Pontiac G3 will be announced at a later date.

General Motors announced a new special edition in the Lucerne line-up - Buick Lucerne CXL Special Edition. The comes Buick Lucerne CXL Special Edition equipped with either a V6 or a V8 engine. The 3.8L V6 develops 197 hp at 5200 rpm and 227 lb.-ft. of torque (308 Nm) at 3800 rpm.

The Buick Lucerne CXL Special Edition 4.6L V8 outputs 275 hp (205 kW) at 6000 rpm and 295 lb.-ft. of torque (400 Nm) at 4400 rpm. The Buick Lucerne CXL Special Edition price starts at $32,150 for the V6 version and $33,850 MSRP for the V8 model.
