Rolls-Royce to Reveal Phantom Coupe at Geneva
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will unveil its new Phantom Coupe at the 78th International Geneva Motor Show on Tuesday, 4 March 2008. Production of the new car will start at Goodwood in the summer of 2008.
The Coupe is the most driver-orientated model in the Phantom line. A number of subtle but significant modifications have been made that change its character. It is noticeably more dynamic, whilst still offering incredible levels of comfort.
Marrying cutting-edge technology with a beautifully proportioned, muscular body that exudes power and style, it incorporates timeless Rolls-Royce design cues in an utterly contemporary manner.

Designed to cover great distances effortlessly, the Coupe is the perfect choice for a transcontinental trip. Power is provided by the Phantom’s 6.75-litre V12 that produces 453 bhp, 720 Nm of torque and has segment-leading fuel economy. A 25 per cent increase in fuel capacity, compared to the Drophead Coupe, adds significant driving range. Agile, fast, long-legged and virtually silent, the Phantom Coupe allows both driver and passengers to emerge unruffled, even after an all-day run.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chief Designer, Ian Cameron, said, “Rolls-Royce has always been about pace, performance and style. For the Coupe design we gave the quintessential Rolls-Royce design a dynamic twist. This adds a sense of drama to the outstanding engineering and drivability that are fundamentals of Rolls-Royce cars. The dynamic drive of the Phantom has always come as a surprise to customers and the Coupe takes it one step further.”
The Phantom Coupe features rear-hinged coach doors which add considerably to the ease of access to the rear lounge seats as well as to the overall aesthetics. Crucially, they aid the overall stiffness of the body as the rear hinged doors allow for an uninterrupted A-pillar helping to make this the most torsionally rigid Rolls-Royce ever. A brushed steel finish of A-pillar and bonnet, as seen for the first time on 100EX, is also available for the Coupe.

At the rear is a spacious picnic boot. A split tail compartment that opens in two parts, gives easy access to 395 liters of space. The lower tailgate also provides a comfortable seating platform for two adults when lowered.
At the core of the Phantom Coupe is an advanced aluminum chassis, perhaps the single most significant component in delivering the marque’s legendary refinement. Lightweight and exceptionally strong, it impacts positively on ride comfort, handling and safety. Hand made, it requires over 130 meters of welding to create each body.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chairman and Chief Executive, Ian Robertson, said, “The Coupe has been designed and engineered to be the most dynamic interpretation of our values. Our 2007 sales figures illustrate how successful the entire model range has been with an increase of 25 per cent over the previous year.”

In 2006, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled 101EX, an experimental car hand-built to explore an exciting new design direction for a modern coupe. Wrapped in a sleek, rakish body, 101EX was an engineering-led study, showcasing the technical and architectural innovation inherent in the quintessential modern Rolls-Royce car. Both handsome and elegant, it encapsulated the essence of contemporary coupe style.
So positive was the worldwide reaction to 101EX that, in autumn 2007, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced that a series model would go into production in the summer of 2008. This coupe would complete the Phantom family, standing alongside the Phantom, Phantom Extended Wheelbase and Phantom Drophead Coupe.
Revealed at the Salon International de l’Automobile, Geneva in March 2008, the Phantom Coupe is the third new model from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars since BMW Group became custodian of the marque in 1998.
The Coupe is the most driver-orientated model in the Phantom line. A number of subtle but significant modifications have been made that change its character. It is noticeably more dynamic, whilst still offering incredible levels of comfort a balance not easily achieved.

The Coupe marries cutting-edge technology with a beautifully proportioned, muscular body that exudes power and style. Utterly contemporary in appearance, it nonetheless incorporates timeless Rolls-Royce design cues such as the long bonnet, large-diameter wheels, short front and long rear overhangs and the classic dynamic, rising profile.
Pleasing to the touch and to the eye, every material used in the Phantom Coupe has been carefully selected to combine form with function. The cabin’s sumptuous leather, rich wood grains and cool chrome accents create a driver environment unparalleled in luxury and comfort.
Designed to cover great distances with the minimum of fuss, the Coupe is a sublime choice for a transcontinental trip, its effortless power provided by the Phantom’s 6.75-litre V12, producing a phenomenal 453 bhp and 720 Nm of torque. Agile, fast, long-legged and virtually silent, the Phantom Coupe allows both driver and passengers to emerge unruffled, even after an all-day run.

The Pogea Husttler Audi TT was unveiled at this year’s Essen Motor Show and is based on the Audi TT Model MK2 8J. The Pogea Husttler Audi TT is available both in coupe and cabrio body versions. The Pogea Husttler Audi TT is called WHITE ANGEL and the cabrio version is called RED DEVIL.
The Pogea Husttler Audi TT received a new body kit, performance engine upgrades, a stainless steel exhaust system, and carbon fibre body panels.

Press Release
Pogea Racing announce the “Husttler Concept”
Based on the new Audi TT Model MK2 8J Pogea Racing created a complete new Body Kit Program, Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems, Performance Engine Upgrades and Carbon Fibre Parts for all of the car. Beginning with the HUSTTLER Front Bumper Version “ONE” with only one fog light on each side of the bottom part of the bumper, you can also get the “TWIN” Version with 2 fog lights on each side. This can also be used as cornering lighting. Lastly, the Version “ZERO” without fog lights. The new face can be ordered in PEC (Polyepoxycarbonate) or in full carbon fibre. The most in demand part in the bumper is the LED DRL Lightning from the actual 2007 Audi S6 Model. All body parts can either be coated with any color or ordered in two different carbon fibre layer styles. “OD” means One Direction Layer or “FISH” will be laid in a 90 degree angle and always cut in the middle of a piece, that is attached on both sides of the car. So the “SAMURAI SWORD” / Spoiler on the bottom of the Front bumper.
To add more to the new face, you can individualize the front bumper with the new „BLADE“ Front Grill Insert. This deletes the Corporate Identity Audi Rings and can be also delivered in carbon fiber and in PEC. Because it is PEC you can paint any of the grill parts in color or order it in carbon. The other possibility is to just order the frame in one of the materials and use the OEM Grill. This gives the OEM Grill a new style, new color and new optic. Customers with the carbon fibre package will love this!

There is some of the most creative parts of this concept. For example the “SPYKKER” rear bumper with side slits and vents, also supplied with grill meshes. The slits can be ordered in carbon or in PEC. All new diffuser covers for the Pogea Racing stainless steel exhaust systems can be installed on this bumper, which are just made for the new OVAL TWIN EXHAUST SYSTEM. Pogea Racing offers now 2 stainless steel systems that are full TÜV approved and legal in any country. They use the Marine Steel spec. US409 in combination with ISO Steel. Pogea Racing offers his customers to play a bit with the exhaust tips. Now he can choose between oval, round, flat or rounded exhaust tips, again which are TÜV approved. These designs will work with a Pogea Racing Diffuser or the Audi OEM Diffuser. All of this with no extra costs.
Performance Power for the new TT through Motronic OBD Tuning was increased up to 280hp this is achieved through OBD tuning added to the Pogea Racing Exhaust System and a special
Air Filter element. The torque is now reaching 420Nm very easily and is limited by the tuner to keep it save. If this is not enough Pogea makes a small Turbo Upgrade Kit that delivers round about 330hp – and all of these being also TÜV approved. The GPS Measurement showed up top speed of approx. 285km/h (180mph)
To keep this performance on the street the Pogea Racing Tuning Team developed a brand new system of rear spoiler wing called „BIPLANE SPOILER“. The results of measurements showed another 34kg extra down force on the rear of the car at a speed of 180km/h (110mph). Through the exact design it was possible to use a screwed on spoiler over a narrowed version of the OEM mechanic / electrical adjusted spoiler from Audi. This is now the reason, why the original idea from Audi is not touched and the electrical adjustment can stay with the spoiler.

Every POGEA RACING product can be ordered in carbon fibre. Through an intelligent autoclave process it is possible to produce any plastic part in full carbon. Now Pogea offers their customers either PEC or carbon fibre for any product. Now there is the full body kit program, interior parts, door handles, mirror housings, plastic pieces (for example all the aluminium parts inside the car switched to carbon). The process guarantees a top quality and very short delivery time.
Last are the fenders with the air vents. The idea is to reduce the twisting air inside the inner wing. All together it makes a much better handling, better steering response, down pressure and no more backpressure on the body now the inner wing is vented. Also these parts are either made of carbon or PEC.
In Partnership with BBS Pogea Racing shows the CH Wheel in 19″ painted in Phantom Black Pearl. Exclusive for the ONE CONCEPT that can be seen at the 2007 Essen Motorshow. Pogea Racing uses KW Suspension on all of their cars with a individual custom setting on spring and damper.
