Mercedes Coupe Family



The new Mercedes CLC Sports Coupe, the Mercedes CL Class 4MATIC, and the new generation Mercedes CLS were included in the current Mercedes Coupe family. The entry level Mercedes CLC coupe was equipped with a new direct-steer system, a Europe-wide DVD or hard-disc navigation. Mercedes CLC coupe is powered by an uprated 4-cylinder engine that develops 135 kW/ 184 hp.

However, the Mercedes coupe family now has a new member: the new 2.8-litre V6 engine developing 170 kW/213 hp, which consumes 9.8 liters per 100 kilometers.

The top of the range coupe from Mercedes is the CL-Class which now comes for the first time with the 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive.

Mercedes-Benz CLC-Class 2009



Mercedes-Benz CLC-Class 2009 is a renamed version and full restyled of the previous generation C-Class Coupe. However, both cars share the same basic platform.

Featuring over 1,100 new or updated parts over its predecessor, including a direct steering system for improved handling and a new entertainment and information system, the Mercedes-Benz CLC-Class is available with six different engine choices, four petrol and two diesel.

Mercedes-Benz CLC-Class Driving

The entry-level CLC180 Kompressor (143 bhp) and CLC200 Kompressor (184 bhp) are driven by four-cylinder engines. While the higher-spec CLC230 manages 204 horsepower from a 2.4-litre V6, and the flagship CLC350 version offers 268 horsepower from a 3.5 litre V6. The CLC350 is capable of hitting 60 mph in 6.3 seconds.

The two diesel models are the CLC200 CDI (122 bhp) and CLC220 CDI (150 bhp).
