Mazda2 Extreme Rally Car

Mazda2 Extreme, the rally ready car has been unveiled today by Mazda at the 2008 Melbourne Motor Show. Powered by a 1.5-litre Inline four-cylinder S-VT engine, the Mazda2 Extreme may develops 76 kW at 6000 rpm and 137 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm.

The engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the engine and the brakes of the Mazda2 Extreme are still under development.

Mazdaspeed Axela MS Concept Car

At the next year’s Tokyo Auto Show, the Mazdaspeed Axela MS will also be part of the Mazdaspeed line-up. The Mazdaspeed Axela MS concept is based on the Mazda3 that received a full body-kit with big airducts and a set of new rims.

The interior of the Mazdaspeed Axela MS includes a two-tone set of sport seats and a two-tone steering wheel. Unfortunately no information has been given whether or not the performance modifications are also present.
