Nissan NV2500 Concept Vehicle



Nissan NV2500 concept has been unveiled by Nissan. Developed specifically for the North American market, Nissan NV2500 concept will serve as a rolling idea lab for the Japanese brand’s entry on the CV market.

With its unique configuration and array of features, Nissan NV2500 could be used in infinite ways by infinite users as it may become a multi-task commercial vehicle.

Nissan NV2500 is one of the largest concept vehicles ever built by Nissan, with a 147.6-inch (12.3-foot) wheelbase and measures 19.5 feet in length, it’s 8 feet tall and 6.6 feet wide.

GEM Peapod Neighborhood Electric Vehicle



Chrysler has revealed the GEM Peapod Neighborhood Electric Vehicle. The GEM Peapod comes with its bold styling the GreenEcoMobility, and aims to set a new standard for environmentally responsible vehicles.

GEM Peapod is powered by an electric motor that uses the energy stored in six 12-Volt flooded electrolyte batteries and a 72-Volt battery system that has an on-boar charger. With these specifications, the GEM Peapod may outputs 12 hp and uses regenerative braking to recover energy.

The GEM Peapod works in two modes: Low with a top speed at 15 mph, and High with a top speed at 25 mph. The GEM Peapod has a range of around 30 miles and requires 6 to 8 hours of charging. The production of GEM Peapod is scheduled in 2009.

Volkswagen Pickup Concept



Volkswagen Pickup concept is a four-door four seater vehicle with 5.18 meters in length and 1.9 meters wide that had its debut at the IAA in Hanover. Designed to be a ‘Search and Rescue’ (SAR) vehicle by lifeguards, the Volkswagen Pickup concept features all the necessary equipment of the job.

Volkswagen Pickup concept aims to set new standards in the 1 -tonne class, and it will go into production at the end of 2009. The Volkswagen Pickup concept’s production will be built in Argentina and will be sold in Europe, South America, South Africa and Australia.

Volkswagen Pickup is powerful, clean and efficient and meets the necessary emissions requirements as it house a range of common rail turbodiesel engines under the bonnet.
