Jaguar XFR Top Speed

Jaguar has made an official announcement that Jaguar XFR which displayed at NAIAS become the fastest car the company ever built. Jaguar XFR reach its top speed at 225.675mph (363.188km/h).

Jaguar XFR top speed record run took place in Utah, at the legendary Bonneville Salt Flats. The current Jaguar XFR top speed record has surpassed the one set by Paul Gentilozzi in 1992 driving the XJ220. The speed set by the XJ220 is 217.1mph (349.4 km/h).

Jaguar XFR which had been used for the top speed run was not a standard version. Jaguar XFR which had been used has extra power, safety modifications, and minor aerodynamic.

Jaguar XFR performance has increased with a re-mapped ECU, a modified air intake and exhaust system and revised supercharger settings. The internal components of the engine in the Jaguar XFR prototype and the six-speed automatic transmission are standard.

2010 Jaguar XFR and Jaguar XF

Jaguar has unveiled the 2010 Jaguar XFR and the 2010 Jaguar XF in Detroit Auto Show. Powered by a 5.0-litre direct-injection supercharged V8 engine, 2010 Jaguar XFR is able to develops 510PS and 625Nm of torque.

2010 Jaguar XFR may reach its top speed at 155mph which electronically limited, and have acceleration time from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds.

Alongside with 2010 Jaguar XKR and Jaguar XK which previously premiered in the same event, 2010 Jaguar XFR also comes with some interesting features such as Active Differential Control, Adaptive Dynamics suspension, ventilated disc brakes, and also a faster steering ratio which included on the equipment list of the 2010 Jaguar XFR.

With new front bumper design, the 2010 Jaguar XFR also comes equipped with new side mirrors, a new bootlid spoiler, a larger lower grille, and sill extensions.

2010 Jaguar XFR will become available in showrooms from February 2009. Unfortunately the company does not disclose any details about the 2010 Jaguar XFR prices.

2010 Jaguar XKR and Jaguar XK

Jaguar has premiered the new generation of the 2010 Jaguar XKR and the 2010 XK at Detroit Auto Show. Both models of the 2010 Jaguar XKR and the new XK meet the Euro 5 emissions standard.

2010 Jaguar XKR gets acceleration time from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds as it’s powered by a new generation of the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine that develops 510PS and 625Nm of torque. While the 2010 Jaguar XK is able to get from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds acceleration time as it’s powered by a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine that outputs 385PS and 515Nm of torque.

2010 Jaguar XKR price for the coupe model will starts at 72,400 pounds, and the price will goes up to 78,400 pounds for the convertible model.

2010 Jaguar XK price for the coupe model will starts at 59,900 pounds, and for the convertible the price is at 65,900 pounds.
