Pininfarina BLUECAR

Pininfarina BLUECAR which will enter production in 2010 has been unveiled at Geneva Motor Show. This electric car is a result of a 50-50 joint venture between the Italian design house and Bollore.

Pininfarina BLUECAR is not just a concept and the production of this compact MPV will be around 60,000 units by 2015. Pininfarina BLUECAR has four seats and five doors which equipped with an automatic transmission.

With the LMP (Lithium Metal Polymer) batteries, Pininfarina BLUECAR has a range of 250 km and a lifespan of about 200,000 km. This car also equipped with a new tire design (developed in collaboration with Dunlop) that significantly reduces energy consumption.

Fiat 500 Start&Stop

Fiat 500 Start&Stop which is based on the 1.2 Lounge model has been launched by the Italian brand. Developed by the company together with Bosch, Fiat 500 Start&Stop offers an improved fuel economy.

When we tried to make comparison with the standard 500, the Fiat 500 Start&Stop offers a 6 g/km less CO2 emissions and almost 1 liter / 100 km better fuel economy in an urban cycle.

Fiat 500 Start&Stop has the same fuel economy in the extra-urban and combined cycle.

The price of Fiat 500 Start&Stop for the UK market will starts at 9,500 pounds.

Lancia Ypsilon VERSUS

Lancia Ypsilon VERSUS has been announced by the Italian group and will be premiered at Paris Auto Show this year.

Lancia Ypsilon VERSUS features a bronze chrome finished grille, handles, molding on the doors and rear bumpers and tailgate handle. Lancia Ypsilon VERSUS’s interior featuring a special upholstery and brown leather.

Lancia Ypsilon VERSUS comes with special Bronzino Bronze body color, a screen-printed ‘Versus’ logo on the roof and bronze 16″ alloy rims.

Lancia Ypsilon VERSUS has been developed in collaboration with the Versace Group brand and will be limited to 500 units with the sale in March 2009. However, there are no announcement yet about the Lancia Ypsilon VERSUS’s price.
