Seat has made announcement about the 2008 SEAT Ibiza price for the 5-door model on the UK market.

With a choice between three engines: a 1.2 liter 12v unit developing 70 PS - a 1.4 16v engine with 85 PS - the top of the range 1.6 16v unit that outputs 105 PS, the 2008 SEAT Ibiza 5 door-model will be available on the British market

The 2008 SEAT Ibiza will go on sale officially on Wednesday 16th July, and as announced by Seat that the 2008 SEAT Ibiza price will starts at £8,995 for the S 1.2 version and will goes up for the Sport 1.6 16 v model to £11,295.

2008 SEAT Ibiza Details

The new 2008 SEAT Ibiza detailed description has been released by Spanish manufacturer. The 2008 SEAT Ibiza is based on a new platform that lengthens the car’s wheelbase by 7 mm and widens the track, 30 mm more at the front and 33 mm more on the rear.

The 2008 SEAT Ibiza will be available with one out of three petrol engines or a diesel engine:

1.2 12V with 70 hp
1.4 16V with 85 hp
1.6 16V with 105 hp
1.9 TDI with 105 hp.

The 2008 SEAT Ibiza 1.6 16v version outputs 105 hp and 153 Nm of engine torque at 3,800 rpm. The fuel consumption is 6.6 liters per 100 km/h while the CO2 emissions level is 157 g/km.

Powered by a 1.9 liter TDI engine, the diesel version of the 2008 SEAT Ibiza delivers 105 hp and 240 Nm of torque at 1,900 rpm. It features a DPF particulate filter, needs 4.5 liters on average for every 100 km, and maintains CO2 emissions at 119 g/km.

With the UK leading the world when it comes to DAB Digital Radio – about 85% of UK households can receive the hi-tech service and there are now more than 400 digital radio stations here – it stands to reason that in-car DAB is set to be a big hit, too.

SEAT, typically, is in the vanguard of this new technology, being one of the handful of
manufacturers to offer standard-fit DAB receivers. The latest model to showcase this entertainment and information revolution is the special edition Ibiza 1.9 TDI DAB, which combines cutting edge ‘ICE’ with sports styling and remarkable value.

Available to order now, the swift, frugal supermini – powered by a potent 100 PS 1.9-litre four cylinder turbodiesel mated to a tried and tested five-speed manual gearbox – makes the 21st Century radio format available to cost-conscious supermini buyers, with a great value price tag of £10,995 RRP.

The three-door only special edition – limited to just 300 cars and available to order now – features a state-of-the-art Blaupunkt Nashville DAB radio capable of receiving all the currently available DAB broadcasts.

The smart head unit offers pre-set storage of up to 20 stations and scrolling display DAB radio text. Traffic announcements (where available) can be turned off, selected by region or received unfiltered while DAB-PTY (programme type) information displays and allows the selection of similar types of programme (news, pop, classics, sport etc).

Additionally, auto DAB switching will move to the equivalent FM station should no DAB signal be available, meaning listeners shouldn’t miss a minute of their favourite song or show.
