Kia Borego Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle



Kia Borrego FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) has been unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show this year. Powered by a fuel cell and a 450-volts Supercapacitor, Kia Borrego FCEV may outputs 154 horsepower (115kW).

Kia Borrego Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle may reach its top speed at 100 mph, and 0 to 60 mph acceleration time is 12.8 seconds.

Kia Borrego FCEV is able to run for 426 miles with three full tanks as it is equipped with a 202-liter hydrogen storage tank.

With fuel economy of 54 mpg (EPA combined F/E), Kia Borrego FCEV has cold-weather starting capability to operate in sub-zero temperatures, and also offers a 44-percent increase in power compared to the previous generation.

Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid



Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid has been announced to make its debut at Paris Auto Show. Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid is powered by a thrifty 2.4-litre Theta engine and a 41PS and 205Nm electric motor. It also equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid will offer a 6.2l/100km fuel economy on a combined cycle and a 148 g/km CO2 emissions level with this powertrain.

The electrical power that needed by the Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid is stored in a 270V Lithium Polymer rechargeable battery (5.3Ah/270V). The new Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid will go on sale in July 2009.

2009 Hyundai VI Luxury Sedan



Hyundai has made announcement that the launch date of its new luxury sedan, codenamed VI, will be at February 2009.

The 2009 Hyundai VI luxury sedan will be available upon launch with either a 3.8-liter Lambda V6 engine or a 4.6-liter Tau V8 powerplant. There will also be a 5.0-liter variant of the Tau engine available for the new 2009 Hyundai VI luxury sedan that will come in the second half of the next year.

The 2009 Hyundai VI will showcase the brand’s most advanced technology including a second-generation Vehicle Stability Management System (VSM2), a Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and a Pre-Safety Seatbelt System.

The 2009 Hyundai VI luxury sedan will be sold only on the Korean markets with no plans for the U.S. and European ones.
