Citroen Hypnos Unveiled

Citroen Hypnos concept has been unveiled in Paris Motor Show. Citroen Hypnos concept is an elegant and distinctive cross-over vehicle, and explores new avenues in the design of luxury ecological vehicles.

Citroen Hypnos may delivers 200 bhp (147 kW) and 420 Nm of torque as it’s powered by a 2-litre HDi DPFS diesel engine. Citroen Hypnos engine is coupled with a 6-speed electronic gearbox system.

Citroen Hypnos hybrid drivetrain also includes an electric motor positioned on the rear axle that resulting an additional 50 bhp and 200 Nm of torque.

Citroen Hypnos is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds and up to a top speed of 212 km/h with this powertrain.

Peugeot 908 HDi FAP Hybrid Race Car

Peugeot has revealed a new race car at the final round of the 2008 Le Mans Series at Silverstone. This new race car called Peugeot 908 HDi FAP hybrid that equipped with a hybrid power plant and a kinetic energy recovery system. The recovered energy is stored in 600 lithium-ion cells divided into 10 battery packs.

Peugeot 908 HDi FAP hybrid was presented in a silver-grey livery and previewed what Peugeot’s next endurance racing challenger could resemble. The use of the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP hybrid will depend on the regulations that will govern LMP 1 cars from 2009.

Citroen C3 Picasso 2009

The new 2009 Citroen C3 Picasso will have its market debut in the first-quarter of 2009, after presented at the Paris Motor Show.

The 2009 Citroen C3 Picasso comes with two diesel engines (HDi 90hp and HDi 110bhp), and with two new petrol engines (VTi 95hp and VTi 120hp).

The 2009 Citroen C3 Picasso carry the Airdream environmental signature that identifies the models with the best environmental credentials and powered by either of the diesel power units.

The 2009 Citroen C3 Picasso offers a modular layout of the interior that allows the optimization the cabin space. The 2009 Citroen C3 Picasso is 4.08m long, 1.73m in wide and 1.62m tall.
