Rinspeed iChange

Rinspeed iChange has been unveiled by Rinspeed as the latest project which will make its world debut at the Geneva Auto Show. Comes with 1,050 kg weighs, Rinspeed iChange can transform in seconds from a one-seater sports car to a comfortable car with enough room for three passengers.

Powered by an electric motor, Rinspeed iChange may develops 150kW and reach its top speed at 220 km/h. Rinspeed iChange is able to reach 100 km/h in less than four seconds and features a six-speed pre-selector gearbox from a Subaru WRX.

Rinspeed iChange uses an electrically powered roof section that tilts forward to allow for access to change the purpose of the door. That means Rinspeed iChange comes with interesting design characteristic since it has no door attached.

EDAG Light Car

EDAG Light Car has been announced by EDAG as a environment-friendly, future-orientated car for everyday and leisure use.

EDAG Light Car is an Open Source that will take place at the 79th Geneva Motor Show. With a basalt fiber as first ever used material for building a car, the company says the car looks like it was made from glass. Basalt fiber is a lightweight, stable and 100% recyclable.

EDAG Light Car is powered with electric drive systems that are placed in the wheels.

EDAG Light Car also equipped with a new LED lighting technology that’s used as an individually adaptable design and communication element.

2010 Mazda3 5-Door Hatchback

Mazda has made announcement that the new 2010 Mazda3 5-door hatchback will have its world debut on December 3, 2008 - at the Bologna Motor Show.

Mazda3 5-door hatchback (2010) is the world’s first car catalyst to be constructed with single nanotechnology. That is the most important features offered by 2010 Mazda3 5-door hatchback.

Although it has the same characteristics as its sedan counterpart displayed at the LA Auto Show, the 2010 Mazda3 5-door hatchback will feature a new 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine that designed for the European market.

The 2010 Mazda3 5-door hatchback’s engine is a high-performance clean diesel powerplant with top class output, fuel economy and refinement. The standard power version will outputs 150 PS while the high power version will develops 185 PS.
