Mercedes ML450 HYBRID

Mercedes ML450 HYBRID will be showcased at 2009 New York Auto Show as announced by the company.

Although Mercedes ML450 HYBRID was previewed at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2007 for the first time, but the company made decision not released the car for the market on that time due to a number of problems.

Mercedes ML450 HYBRID has a total power of 335 hp from its powertrain. However, Mercedes ML450 HYBRID can be operated in electric mode only and uses an Atkinson cycle for maximum fuel efficiency.

Nissan Qazana Concept Car

Nissan Qazana crossover is the latest concept from the Japanese manufacturer that has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Inspired by the motorbikes and beach buggies, Nissan want reinvent a small five-door car with a compact design.

With 4060mm in length, 1780 in wide, and 1570mm in tall, Nissan Qazana concept also has a wheelbase of 2530mm.

Nissan Qazana concept has a high waistline, prominent wheel arches, and slim side windows on its exterior styling. While on its interior, Nissan Qazana is inspired by motorcycles with a mechanical feel with the center console design inspired by a motorcycle fuel tank and seat.

Nissan also said that their latest new concept car will be equipped with the next generation fully electronic ALL MODE four-wheel drive with torque vectoring system.

Rinspeed iChange

Rinspeed iChange has been unveiled by Rinspeed as the latest project which will make its world debut at the Geneva Auto Show. Comes with 1,050 kg weighs, Rinspeed iChange can transform in seconds from a one-seater sports car to a comfortable car with enough room for three passengers.

Powered by an electric motor, Rinspeed iChange may develops 150kW and reach its top speed at 220 km/h. Rinspeed iChange is able to reach 100 km/h in less than four seconds and features a six-speed pre-selector gearbox from a Subaru WRX.

Rinspeed iChange uses an electrically powered roof section that tilts forward to allow for access to change the purpose of the door. That means Rinspeed iChange comes with interesting design characteristic since it has no door attached.
