Koenigsegg Quant Solar Electric Car



Koenigsegg Quant is a four-seater solar electric car which has been unveiled in Geneva by Koenigsegg together with NLV Solar AG. Featuring the FAES (Flow Accumulator Energy Storage) technology, Koenigsegg Quant is enable a full re-charge in just 20 minutes and has a range of 500 km.

Koenigsegg Quant needs just 5.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a stand still and the car is able to develops 512 bhp and 715 Nm of torque. While the top speed of Koenigsegg Quant solar electric car will be at 275 km/h.

The rear-wheel drive Koenigsegg Quant is powered by two electrical AC induction electric motors and features four-wheel brake regeneration, ABS, and ESP.

Rinspeed iChange



Rinspeed iChange has been unveiled by Rinspeed as the latest project which will make its world debut at the Geneva Auto Show. Comes with 1,050 kg weighs, Rinspeed iChange can transform in seconds from a one-seater sports car to a comfortable car with enough room for three passengers.

Powered by an electric motor, Rinspeed iChange may develops 150kW and reach its top speed at 220 km/h. Rinspeed iChange is able to reach 100 km/h in less than four seconds and features a six-speed pre-selector gearbox from a Subaru WRX.

Rinspeed iChange uses an electrically powered roof section that tilts forward to allow for access to change the purpose of the door. That means Rinspeed iChange comes with interesting design characteristic since it has no door attached.

GUMPERT Apollo #40 Leaves Factory



GUMPERT Apollo #40 has leaves the factory as GUMPERT announced the production milestone of this car. The factory of GUMPERT Apollo is located at Altenburg, Thuringia.

GUMPERT Apollo was entered production three years ago and being built by a team of only 45 employees, as GUMPERT is not a huge corporation.

The standard version of GUMPERT Apollo is powered by the 4.2l V8 twin-turbo engine that outputs 650 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. This car will reach top speed at 360 km/h, and has the acceleration time 62 mph in just 3.0 seconds.

According to the news that we’ve got, GUMPERT plans to sell another 25 units of the Apollo around the world in 2009 with the price at 301.600 Euros without tax.
