Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid

Porsche has release the details of the Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid which will make its world debut in 2010.

Powered by a supercharged Audi 3.0-liter V6 engine with DFI, Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid can develops 333 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque.

With V8 performance, Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid will have a 20 percent reduction of CO2 emissions and deliver 4-cylinder engine efficiency.

Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid is also equipped with a 52-horsepower three-phase synchronous electric motor that adds 221 lb-ft of torque.

2009 Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman Prices

2009 Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman price for US market has been announced by Porsche. Alongside with the announcement, Porsche also provide the updated price list for the 2009 Porsche 911 and Porsche Cayenne models.

Both 2009 Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman are powered by the same a 2.9 liter flat six engine. With the engine, the Boxter may develops 255 hp while the Cayman may outputs 265 hp. For the S versions, the engine will be equipped with a 3.4 liter unit with 310 hp in the Boxster S and 320 hp in the Cayman S.

Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman features a new, more powerful and more fuel efficient engine, with Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) and the PDK gearbox in 2009.

BMW Hydrogen Salt Flat Racer Concept Car

BMW has designed a hydrogen powered salt flat racer based on the premise of Reuse (instead of recycle) for the 2008 LA Auto Show Design Challenge competition.

BMW have tried to make the BMW Hydrogen Salt Flat Racer concept as environmentally friendly as possible by using existing, ordinary, and mundane materials, such as old oil barrels and barbeque lids, as main components for the body and wheel discs of the vehicle.
