Jaguar XFR Top Speed

Jaguar has made an official announcement that Jaguar XFR which displayed at NAIAS become the fastest car the company ever built. Jaguar XFR reach its top speed at 225.675mph (363.188km/h).

Jaguar XFR top speed record run took place in Utah, at the legendary Bonneville Salt Flats. The current Jaguar XFR top speed record has surpassed the one set by Paul Gentilozzi in 1992 driving the XJ220. The speed set by the XJ220 is 217.1mph (349.4 km/h).

Jaguar XFR which had been used for the top speed run was not a standard version. Jaguar XFR which had been used has extra power, safety modifications, and minor aerodynamic.

Jaguar XFR performance has increased with a re-mapped ECU, a modified air intake and exhaust system and revised supercharger settings. The internal components of the engine in the Jaguar XFR prototype and the six-speed automatic transmission are standard.

Powered by a 5.5-litre V12 diesel engine, Volkswagen Baja Touareg TDI Trophy Truck may develops 550 hp and 625 lbs.-ft. of torque. The engine of Volkswagen Baja Touareg TDI Trophy Truck is coupled with a gearbox operated by steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

Volkswagen Baja Touareg TDI Trophy Truck will race in its inaugural event at the 41st Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 desert race in the SCORE Trophy Truck class.

Powered by a 5.5 Liter V12 TDI Twin turbo diesel engine, the Volkswagen-Red Bull Baja Race Touareg TDI Trophy Truck may delivers 550 HP (405kW) and 625 ft-lb (850Nm) of torque.

Volkswagen-Red Bull Baja Race Touareg TDI Trophy Truck features an Xtrac 6-speed sequential gearbox, rear wheel drive layout, and has a mid-engine.

Volkswagen-Red Bull Baja Race Touareg TDI Trophy Truck also features a 65 Gallon (240 Liter) capacity fuel cell designed by Harmon Fuel Cells.

With dual Garrett TR 30 R, dual 43.5mm air-restrictors, and 2.94 bar of absolute pressure, Volkswagen-Red Bull Baja Race Touareg TDI Trophy Truck will be unveiled with extra power.

Volkswagen-Red Bull Baja Race Touareg TDI Trophy Truck will compete in the 41st Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 desert race in the SCORE Trophy Truck class.
