Citroen DS Inside Concept

Citroen DS Inside concept images and details has been released by Citroen which illustrates a new product line.

As have been said by Citroen, that the Citroen DS Inside shows a new concept, called Creative Technologie, but the details on the actual vehicle are slim.

A new naming system for the car manufacturer also premiered with Citroen DS Inside Concept. The model line up will be called DS3, DS4 and DS5 (DS stands for Different Spirit).

With the Citroen DS Inside concept the company focuses on styling, onroad performance and use.

EDAG Light Car

EDAG Light Car has been announced by EDAG as a environment-friendly, future-orientated car for everyday and leisure use.

EDAG Light Car is an Open Source that will take place at the 79th Geneva Motor Show. With a basalt fiber as first ever used material for building a car, the company says the car looks like it was made from glass. Basalt fiber is a lightweight, stable and 100% recyclable.

EDAG Light Car is powered with electric drive systems that are placed in the wheels.

EDAG Light Car also equipped with a new LED lighting technology that’s used as an individually adaptable design and communication element.

Volkswagen BlueSport

Volkswagen BlueSport has been premiered at the NAIAS in Detroit. Powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder TDI engine, Volkswagen BlueSport may develops 132 kW / 180 PS at 4,200 rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm.

Volkswagen BlueSport is a compact roadster which uses a 6-speed direct shift gearbox to transfer the power of the engine to a Rear-wheel drive system.

Volkswagen BlueSport may reach its top speed at 140 mph / 226 km/h. This latest concept from German manufacturer have acceleration time 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds.

Volkswagen BlueSport also comes with a fuel consumption of 4.3 liter/100 km / 55 mpg and a CO2 emissions level of 113 g/km.

Volkswagen BlueSport has been displayed at NAIAS wearing a Flex Silver exterior color and an orange fabric convertible top and aims to be a reflection of modern carmaking.
