2010 Jaguar XFR and Jaguar XF

Jaguar has unveiled the 2010 Jaguar XFR and the 2010 Jaguar XF in Detroit Auto Show. Powered by a 5.0-litre direct-injection supercharged V8 engine, 2010 Jaguar XFR is able to develops 510PS and 625Nm of torque.

2010 Jaguar XFR may reach its top speed at 155mph which electronically limited, and have acceleration time from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds.

Alongside with 2010 Jaguar XKR and Jaguar XK which previously premiered in the same event, 2010 Jaguar XFR also comes with some interesting features such as Active Differential Control, Adaptive Dynamics suspension, ventilated disc brakes, and also a faster steering ratio which included on the equipment list of the 2010 Jaguar XFR.

With new front bumper design, the 2010 Jaguar XFR also comes equipped with new side mirrors, a new bootlid spoiler, a larger lower grille, and sill extensions.

2010 Jaguar XFR will become available in showrooms from February 2009. Unfortunately the company does not disclose any details about the 2010 Jaguar XFR prices.

GEM Peapod Neighborhood Electric Vehicle

Chrysler has revealed the GEM Peapod Neighborhood Electric Vehicle. The GEM Peapod comes with its bold styling the GreenEcoMobility, and aims to set a new standard for environmentally responsible vehicles.

GEM Peapod is powered by an electric motor that uses the energy stored in six 12-Volt flooded electrolyte batteries and a 72-Volt battery system that has an on-boar charger. With these specifications, the GEM Peapod may outputs 12 hp and uses regenerative braking to recover energy.

The GEM Peapod works in two modes: Low with a top speed at 15 mph, and High with a top speed at 25 mph. The GEM Peapod has a range of around 30 miles and requires 6 to 8 hours of charging. The production of GEM Peapod is scheduled in 2009.

2008 SEAT Ibiza and Leon Models for Ann Summers

20 unit fleet of the new 2008 SEAT Ibiza and Leon models has been purchased by Ann Summers - the largest lingerie & adult goods chain in UK. The cars will be used for traveling around UK by the company’s Party Planners, arranging themed evenings for females only.

Ann Summers has purchased the 1.4-litre Stylance Ibizas models and the Leon 2.0-litre TDI Stylance models.

However, the new 2008 five-door SEAT Ibiza will become available on the UK market in the next summer, as announced by Seat.
