Jaguar XFR Top Speed
Jaguar has made an official announcement that Jaguar XFR which displayed at NAIAS become the fastest car the company ever built. Jaguar XFR reach its top speed at 225.675mph (363.188km/h).
Jaguar XFR top speed record run took place in Utah, at the legendary Bonneville Salt Flats. The current Jaguar XFR top speed record has surpassed the one set by Paul Gentilozzi in 1992 driving the XJ220. The speed set by the XJ220 is 217.1mph (349.4 km/h).
Jaguar XFR which had been used for the top speed run was not a standard version. Jaguar XFR which had been used has extra power, safety modifications, and minor aerodynamic.
Jaguar XFR performance has increased with a re-mapped ECU, a modified air intake and exhaust system and revised supercharger settings. The internal components of the engine in the Jaguar XFR prototype and the six-speed automatic transmission are standard.
