Bentley Continental GTC Speed



Bentley has released the details of Bentley Continental GTC Speed - the latest model that become one of the most powerful convertible ever. Powered by the 6-litre W12 twin-turbocharged engine that has been tuned, Bentley Continental GTC Speed is able to outputs a massive 600bhp (610PS) and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and to 100 mph in 10.6 seconds.

Bentley Continental GTC Speed may reach its top speed at 200 mph (322 km/h) with the roof up. While with the roof down, the top speed of Bentley Continental GTC Speed will be at 195 mph (312 km/h).

With the price starts at 146,100.00 pounds including VAT, Bentley Continental GTC Speed comes equipped with a six-speed transmission that has two fully automatic modes (Drive and Sport) and a clutchless manual mode.

Bentley Power on Ice Event



Bentley has made announcement about Power on Ice - a special driving event on the remote snowscape of Finland that will take place in February and March 2009. As have been offered by the British manufacturer to its customers, it’s the opportunity to drive 560-610 hp cars from the Continental series on a surface of pure ice through the Bentley Power on Ice event.

Bentley also announced that the Power on Ice event will be included with driving lessons from accomplished instructors and help from the team of Finnish rally star Juha Kankkunen.

Juha Kankkunen managed to set a new world speed record on ice driving a Bentley Continental GT in March 2007.

Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed (2009) Debut



Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed (2009) will have its public debut at the 2008 British International Motor Show.

The 2009 Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed is powered by a 12-cylinder 600 hp monster of an engine. The 2009 Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed can reach 60 mph from a standing start in 4.5 seconds, and will reach its top speed at 200 mph.

The 2009 Bentley Continental Flying Spur and of the Speed version included with some new features include the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) that uses a long-range radar sensor, mounted in the lower front grille, to monitor the road ahead for other vehicles.
