Aston Martin has released the specification of 2009 Aston Martin Vantage GT4. With weighings at 1,330 kg, the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is 300 kg lighter than the standard car.

Based on the new 4.7 liter V8 Vantage, the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is aimed to follow the previous 4.3 liter Vantage N24.

Aston Martin Vantage GT4 has been unveiled in Dubai by chairman, David Richards and has been tested at the Dubai Autodrome after under development for the last six months.

Comes with a lightweight flywheel, the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 also equipped with a six speed manual or a Sportshift transmission, a Valeo twin-plate cerametallic racing clutch.

With starting delivery in January 2009, Aston Martin Vantage GT4 price will starts at £96,645 and available to order now.

Aston Martin Racing released the first photos of the 2008 Aston Martin Vantage GT2. With the launch of the 2008 Vantage GT2 Aston Martin completes its portfolio of GT cars in each of the four categories GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4.

The first shot of Aston Martin Vantage GT2 car had been revealed by Aston Martin Racing.

The Aston Martin Vantage GT2 car is based on the Aston Martin Vantage road car and powered by a V8 engine. The Aston Martin Vantage GT2 will mean Aston Martin is the only manufacturer to offer cars in every GT racing category: GT1 DBR9; GT2 Vantage GT2; GT3 DBRS9; GT4 Vantage N24.

In 2007, Aston Martin Racing successfully converted a standard DBRS9 to run on E85. Tat’s why the Aston Martin Vantage GT2 car is designing to run on standard race fuel or E85 bio-ethanol.

Robin Brundle, Aston Martin Racing managing director, said: “The Aston Martin Vantage GT2 completes our product portfolio for 2008 with competitive cars now available in every category. Thanks to our experience with the DBRS9, we have been able to develop a bio-ethanol fueled version, which will be eligible to compete in an increasing number of series now accommodating this greener fuel, including the American Le Mans Series.”

Aston Martin chairman, David Richards, will announcing Aston Martin Racing’s 2008 plans on Thursday 10 January at 10.45 am, at the Autosport International Show.
