Mitsubishi Racing Lancer D iD



Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and the Repsol Mitsubishi Ralliart team announced today that the Mitsubishi Racing Lancer D-iD will have its official unveiling at the Paris Motor Show 2008. Four Mitsubishi Racing Lancer D-iD racers will be entered in the 2009 Dakar rally season.

The Mitsubishi Racing Lancer D-iD packs a 3-litre V6 diesel engine that’s good for 66.3kgfm (650Nm) of maximum torque and 280PS (206kW). The engine of the Mitsubishi Racing Lancer D-iD is coupled with a five-speed sequential gearbox and a permanent four-wheel drive transmission that features the same self-locking differential used in the Pajero/Montero Evolution.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport - New Photos and Details



Mitsubishi has released new photos and details of the 2008 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport that will be premiered at the Moscow Auto Salon.

The 2008 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport engine features common rail direct fuel injection and ECU-controlled injector valves, and is coupled with a 4-speed Sport Mode automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual gearbox. Houses a 3.2-liter diesel engine under the bonnet, the 2008 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is good for 343 Nm (35.0 kg-m) of torque at 2000 rpm and 120 kW (163 PS) at 3500 rpm.

2008 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV



Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (2008) will be premiered by Mitsubishi at this year’s Moscow Motor Show that starts on August 26.

The new 2008 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will be sold in selected markets such as Middle East, Russia, ASEAN area, Latin America, and also Oceania. Unfortunately North American and Europe market will not receive the SUV.

The 2008 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport comes with the Super Select 4WD system and will be available with a 2-row (5-passenger) or 3-row (7-passenger) seating configuration.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will be available with a choice between three engines: a 2.5-liter and 3.2-liter common rail direct injection diesel units and a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline unit.
