Mercedes Concept BlueZERO complete details has been officially released to the public. The three versions of the Mercedes Concept BlueZero are called E-Cell, F-Cell and E-Cell Plus. All of these three concepts will make debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).
Mercedes Concept BlueZERO are based on a single vehicle architecture with an intelligent, modular concept, and offering three drive configurations: E-CELL with battery-electric drive and a range of up to 120 miles, F-CELL (fuel cell) with a range of well over 248 miles and E-CELL PLUS with electric drive and an additional internal combustion engine.
Mercedes Concept BlueZERO E-CELL PLUS has a range of 370 miles out of which 60 can be done on electric alone.

Mercedes B Class F-CELL is the Mercedes B Class with a local, and zero-emission fuel-cell drive. Mercedes B Class F-CELL will be launched in the summer of 2010. Small numbers of productions of the Mercedes B Class F-CELL will begin in early 2010.

Although the Mercedes B Class F-CELL was designed to start at -25 degrees Celsius, the engineers had to test the interaction between the different components under real-life winter conditions.
