Sigma GTE Electric Sports Car Prototype



Sigma GTE is a new electric sports car prototype which has been developed by the US-based Sigma Motorworks company.

Powered by two Advance Motors DC motors that connected directly to the front and rear differentials, Sigma GTE may outputs 100 hp each from its motors while running at 144V. However, Sigma GTE doesn’t have a gearbox attached.

Sigma GTE has been designed using a Ford Mustang cockpit and offers four seats that’s better for the safety and interior quality. While Sigma GTE’s body is made from fiberglass and has been designed in-house by the manufacturer.

Ford-Lincoln-Mercury Will Get EPS on 2012



Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models will be equipped with EPS (electric power steering) between 80% and 90% on 2012 as announced by Ford. With this EPS system, the cars will get improvement for the overall fuel economy, performance and reliability of the Ford model line-up.

The Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ will receive EPS next year and the Ford Mustang, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator will be following them in the next three years.
