The 2008 Volvo V70 2.5 FT and the 2008 Volvo S80 2.5 FT are available now, as announced by Volvo. Powered by 2.5-litre turbocharged Flexifuel engine that develops 200 hp (147 kW) and 300 Nm of torque, both the 2008 Volvo V70 2.5 FT and the 2008 Volvo S80 2.5 FT are available with a manual or an automatic gearbox.
With the manual gearbox, the 2.5 FT Volvo engine has a fuel consumption of 9.2 l/100 km for both V70 and S80. While in automatic gearbox, it will resulting 10.2 l/100 km for V70 version and 10.1 l/100 km for S80 version.

The very first Volvo car left the factory on April 14, 1927. It was called the ึV4 because the letters ึV are Swedish for “Open Car” and 4 denoted the number of cylinders powering the new Swedish car.
