Mercedes SLR McLaren 722 has made confusion among some people when on its first time launch by Daimler. People were believed that Mercedes SLR McLaren equipped with V8 engine that developing 722 hp.
Their assumption are totally wrong. The number 722 actually taken from 7:22AM - the starting time of the 1955 Mille Miglia run, when Sterling Moss raced the Mercedes SLR.

Based on this case, RENNtech took the task of actually bringing the power level of the Mercedes SLR McLaren to 722 hp.

However, RENNtech may went past this point and introducing the RENNtech Mercedes SLR McLaren PKG2 and using an ECU upgrade that develops 740 hp at 6400 rpm.

Comes with signature 10-spoke, the RENNtech Mercedes SLR McLaren PKG2 also equipped with 3 piece performance wheels and bigger brakes. The RENNtech Mercedes SLR McLaren PKG2 price will be at $26,990.
