Pontiac G8 GXP Street Edition is a custom built car that premiered at the 2008 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Powered by a 7.4 liter engine, Pontiac G8 GXP Street may develops 638 horsepower (476 kW) and 600 lb.-ft. of torque (813 Nm).
Pontiac G8 GXP Street’s engine is coupled with a Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission.
Pontiac G8 GXP Street is fitted with new six-bolt LSX cylinder heads, a LSX Bowtie cylinder block, and an all-forged rotating assembly to get the extra grunt.

Pontiac G8 GXP Street comes with stiffer springs, a lowered ride height, and also a disc brake package from the Cadillac CTS-V.
Pontiac G8 GXP Street also equipped with a performance exhaust system with custom-cut aluminum tips exiting through the rear fascia.
Pontiac G8 GXP Street has custom, leather-trimmed seats with “GXP” embroidered on the headrests. A new gauge cluster with unique graphics also applied, and the silver-finish factory trim has a new, black-chrome, metallic look.
Pontiac G8 GXP Street concept’s exterior wears custom front and rear fascias and new rocker panels that give it a more aggressive appearance. The front fascia features unique upper and lower grilles, while the rear fascia incorporates a racing-style diffuser. All of the exterior bright trim has a black chrome finish.
