2008 Skoda Superb


The first details of the 2008 Skoda Superb that will be premiered at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show next spring has been released by Skoda. A select group of media representatives had been invited to the Death Valley desert in the United States for testing the 2008 Skoda Superb in the harsh environment. The 2008 Skoda Superb are powered by a 1.8 TSI/118 kW (160 bhp) engine, and being put through various tests.

2008 Skoda Superb has an interesting feature called the AFS (Adaptive Front Light System). The feature of AFS system for 2008 Skoda Superb has four settings:

- CITY (The distribution of the light is wider and shorter. The left headlight is turned slightly to the left and tilted to avoid dazzling drivers in oncoming cars. This mode is active at 15-50 km/h.)
- INTERCITY (The headlights are in their basic positions. This mode is active at 0-15 km/h or 50-90 km/h.)
- HIGHWAY (both headlights are lifted. This mode is active from 90 km/h; however)
- RAIN (The light path is wide and shorter than in the Intercity mode. The right headlight is dipped downwards and the left headlight is dipped to the left and downwards. This mode is limited at speeds from 20 to 70 km/h.

BMW M3 CSL Loaded is Faster than Pagani Zonda F


Did you remember that back in October the Pagani Zonda F established a 7:27:82 lap record on the Nurburgring race track? This record makes Pagani Zonda F as the fastest production car.

Recently, the Swedish BMW tuner Loaded announced today that their modified BMW M3 CSL established a 7:22:09 seconds on the Nordschleife (Nurburgring).

This would make the Loaded BMW M3 CSL as the fastest production (modified) car and the fastest road legal BMW in the world. The Loaded BMW M3 CSL had Richard Goransson at the wheel. It is based on the BMW M3 CSL E46 that has been supercharged and now develops 600 hp.
