A convertible Volvo C70 car will be a number 15 Million car which roll off the production line tomorrow, as announced by Volvo. The first ever Volvo to be produced was called the OV4 (short for Swedish Open Car with 4 cylinders) and exited the factory April 14, 1927.

The very first Volvo car left the factory on April 14, 1927. It was called the ÖV4 because the letters ÖV are Swedish for “Open Car” and 4 denoted the number of cylinders powering the new Swedish car.

Built on a mild steel space-frame chassis clad in fiberglass, The E-Vade racing car has weighs just 950 kg in road-going form and 900 kg for the track version. Powered by a longitudinal Nissan V6 engine, E-Vade Racing Car develops 300 kW in the road car and more than 500 kW on the track car.

Peugeot 308 GT Car


Peugeot has announced the turbo-charged Peugeot 308 GT THP 175 at the Geneva Motorshow. Powered by a 1.6 liter turbo-charged THP 175 hp engine that is coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the Peugeot 308 GT has a top speed of 140 mph and has a 0 to 62 mph acceleration time of 8.3 seconds. The Peugeot 308 GT also has maximum torque 180 lb ft (or 195 lb ft with overboost) at 1600 rpm. However, this turbo-charged Peugeot 308 GT will go on sale in UK in April.
