Mitsubishi enters the SCCA Speed World Challenge with the WORKS SWC Lancer race car. The WORKS tuning company is specialized in modified EVOs and ‘works’ in partnership with the North American branch of Mitsubishi. The Mitsubishi WORKS SWC Lancer will have David Brown at the wheel - a 2-time U.S. Touring Car champion.

Some of the ‘works’ done for the Mitsubishi WORKS SWC Lancer to make it race-worthy include: WORKS two-piece rotors with Brembo aluminum calipers, front and rear WORKS/Ohlins coilovers, a WORKS racing clutch with ‘Spin’ flywheel, and a fully built and balanced Mitsubishi four cylinder engine. Included a WORKS ‘Throw’ short shifter with ‘Grab’ shift knob, WORKS carbon fiber panels, a single Recaro Pro Racer seat, Tilton pedal assembly and a custom roll cage installed by Impact Engineering as other ‘goodies’ inside the Mitsubishi WORKS SWC Lancer.

In the mean time, the Mitsubishi WORKS SWC Lancer will get more upgrades and currently awaiting homologation.
