Maserati Quattroporte race car will compete in the Superstars Series 2009 championship. Wearing the colors of the “Swiss Team”, Maserati Quattroporte race car will be former F1 driver Andrea Chiesa.
Maserati Quattroporte race car has been made lighter as its kerb weight has been reduced to around 1,430kg. Powered by the 4.2L V8 engine coupled with a sequential gearbox, Maserati Quattroporte race car may outputs more than 450 hp (336kW).
Maserati Quattroporte race car also comes with new Pirelli tires, and a few minor aerodynamic modifications. However, the Swiss Team are still working on the chassis development for this new race car.
