Lexus LF SS concept was designed specifically for drivers aged 30-40 in the year 2010, and created by Jin Hee Kim. Although this concept is based on the Lexus GS wheelbase, but the two cars differ greatly in their styling, drivetrain and packaging.
Lexus LF SS concept is powered with a hybrid drivetrain which consists of a V8 engine backed up by a dye-sensitized solar cell and electric motor.
Lexus LF SS concept exterior styling was partly influenced by Buddhist sculpture, and has been designed to appear like a single component.
The short front overhang and long rear overhang have the effect of creating a sense of forward momentum, while also helping to disguise the front-mid engine layout.
Lexus LF SS concept features LED headlights, rear facing camera replaces rear view mirror, and also 10 spoke jet engine inspired wheels.
