Lexus has announced that Lexus IS 250 SR special edition has been launched on the UK market. Powered by the 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine, the Lexus IS 250 SR may develops 204 bhp.
The Lexus IS 250 SR has its top speed at 140 mph with 62 mph coming in 8.1 seconds. The Lexus IS 250 SR sits on 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, and features a full body kit, aluminum sports pedals and scuff plates and heated front seats.
The Lexus IS 250 SR will coming on sale on May 19 this year and has starting price at £24,990 for the manual gearbox version. While for the automatic one, the Lexus IS 250 SR price will goes up at £25,800.

Hot in the wheeltracks of the storming IS F comes another new Lexus, the IS 250 SR. This sporty addition to the IS range expresses its performance credentials with a full body kit and 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels on the outside. Aluminum scuff plates and pedals add subtle visual enhancements on the inside. Heated front seats are also fitted as standard.
The IS 250 SR is designed to deliver some of the sporting allure of the IS F and IS 250 Sport at a high value price. Based on the entry-level IS 250, the new model is packed with features that have a combined customer value of more than £3,500, yet the price tag is less than £1,000 greater model-for-model.
Key standard features include 10 airbags, climate control, cruise control, smart keyless entry and engine start and sequenced LED interior lighting.
The car’s already powerful lines are enhanced with deep skirts to the front, rear and sides and a rear spoiler. Owners who want an even more sporty statement can specify five-spoke 18-inch Tsuki rims.
Powered by a 204bhp 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine, the IS 250 SR will accelerate from rest to 62mph in 8.1 seconds (8.4 with the optional six-speed automatic transmission) and progress to a top speed in excess of 140mph.
Three exterior colors are available: Velvet Black and Cadoxton Slate and Argento Ice metallic finishes. All are matched to Worcester Black interior fabric trim. The IS 250 SR is on sale from 19 May price £24,990 (manual) and £25,800 (automatic).
