The Chevrolet Corvette Z03 concept car is a design created independently from Chevrolet by Ugur Sahin Design, a company setup in 2007 by Axel van Mourik and Ugur Sahin and based in the Netherlands.

One of Ugur Sahin Design’s previous concept cars was the Ferrari Dino concept from 2007. But unlike the Dino concept which was never intended to go into production - the Z03 concept is. Ugur Sahin Design hope to get a limited production run of 100 cars underway before the end of 2008.

The Z03 concept is based on the platform of the Z06 Corvette but with three different engine options ranging from 500 to 750 horsepower. The stylish body of the Z03 is formed from carbon fibre which should result in a total weight saving of 50kgs over the standard Z06.

iDuring the design of the corvette Z03 concept Ugur Sahin Design received assistance from outside sources including Dave McLellan, former Chief engineer of the Corvette from 1975 - 1992.
