B7 Electric Super Race Car Concept

B7 electric super race car is a new concept car that was designed by Filip Tejszerski. This drive-by-wire concept car was inspired by aero planes and may reach 500km/h for its top speed.

B7 electric super race car is powered by V8 internal combustion engine as its generator and will be connected with a LPG for charging the super capacitors which is located in the underbody.

B7 electric super race car provides two seats for the driver and its co-driver on a central tandem position. As have been said by the designer, that he wants to make a speed record amongst all internal combustion cars. This hybrid concept car also attached with Speed and Control Computer (SCC) to control the vehicles through its traction, air brakes, and suspension.

BMW i8 Concept

BMW has revealed the two-door BMW i8 Concept as a sports car for a new generation. Offering enough interior space for 4 people, BMW i8 will become a modern and sustainable sports car which powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

BMW i8 Concept combines a combustion engine with the electric drive system which taken from the i3 model. A high-performance 3-cylinder combustion engine will powering the rear axle resulting outputs 164 kW/220 hp and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. While the front axle is powered as we mentioned above, an electric motor which develops 170 hp and 250 Nm. With a raw calculation, BMW i8 concept will have a total output of 390 hp and 550 Nm of torque.

2013 Chevrolet Malibu ECO

Chevrolet Malibu ECO has been revealed at the New York International Motor Show. As have been said by Chevy that the car is the most fuel-efficient midsize model they have ever built. With an Ecotec 2.4-liter combustion engine mated to a Hydra-Matic 6T40 six-speed automatic, Chevrolet Malibu ECO may develops 180 horsepower (134 kW) and is able to offer a fuel economy up to 26 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.

Based on the all-new 2013 Malibu sedan, Chevrolet Malibu ECO comes with eAssist system which uses a state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery and an electric motor-generator to enable regenerative braking electric assist and start-stop functionality.

Unfortunately Chevy does not mention yet about the Chevrolet Malibu ECO prices. However, they will release the pricing information for the Chevrolet Malibu ECO on summer 2011 when the model goes on sale in nearly 100 countries on six continents.
