SsangYong is participate again at the 82nd Geneva Auto Show. They showcased the 3-door model of the XIV-2 concept in Geneva. Ssangyong says that they will provide various body styles of their new concept including the 3-door and 5-door model, coupe version, and also an extended version.
SsangYong XIV-2 teaser images has been released by the company ahead of its global premiere at 2012 Geneva International Motor Show. Ssangyong XIV-2 is a Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) concept that become the second XIV concept from the company. Talking about its name, the XIV-2 is taken from “eXciting User Interface Vehicle 2”.
SsangYong KEV2 concept has been unveiled at the 2011 Seoul Motor Show. This new concept car will become SsangYong’s future strategy to environmentally friendly electric vehicles. Powered by a 120 kW electric motor with a 35 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, SsangYong KEV2 concept car will have a maximum driving range of 180 km. With a weighs of 1750 kg, SsangYong KEV2 may reach its top speed at 150km/h.
SsangYong KEV2 measures 4,410mm on length, 1,860mm width, 1,690mm height, 2,650mm wheel base, while using 255 50R19 on its wheels and tyres. With a masculine body design, SsangYong KEV2 has more aggressive appearance compared with the recently released diesel engine Korando.
