Chevrolet finally released the production model of their 2013 Trailblazer SUV after the first appearance of the concept that was showcased in Dubai International Motor Show last year. The production model will be showcased at Bangkok International Motor Show which will be held soon in Thailand.
In comparison with its concept, the 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer production version will not equipped with the cool-looking exhaust pipes although it was assembled on the concept previously. There are several additional equipment that offered by Chevrolet on their 2013 Trailblazer SUV which includes a new front apron and rear bumper, and also more rugged rims and tires.
In terms of engine, Chevy equips their new SUV Trailblazer with a choice of two turbo-diesel engines that coupled with two optional choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engines are the 2.5-liter that makes the SUV is able to develops 150 PS (110 kW) with 350 Nm (258 lb.-ft.) of torque, and the 2.8-liter that delivers 180 PS (132 kW) with 470 Nm (346 lb.-ft.) of torque.
Chevy is always serious when it comes to safety. It can be seen on the equipment list provided by the company on their new 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV that includes ABS with EBD, Hill Descent Control, Panic Brake Assist, Traction Control, Engine Drag Control, and ESC.
While inside the vehicle, Chevrolet offers two rows of rear seats that can be adjustable depend on needs. The seats can be folded down to create more space inside. Unfortunately, the company does not mention about the price of their new Chevrolet SUV Trailblazer.
