The whole 2009 Dodge Challenger model line-up had been introduced by Chrysler LLC at the 2008 New York Auto Show today. There will be two other models alongside the SRT8: the 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T and the 2009 Dodge Challenger SE. The price for 2009 Dodge Challenger will start in the low $20,000 range.
Powered by a 6.1-liter HEMI V8 engine, the 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 may develops 425 hp at 6200 rpm and 569 Nm of torque at 4800 rpm. With this powerful engine, the car may reaches 60 mph in less than 5 seconds.
Meanwhile, the 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T develops 370 hp at 5800 rpm and 540 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm since it’s powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine.

Today at the New York International Auto Show, Chrysler LLC unveiled its full 2009 Dodge Challenger model lineup. Pricing will start in the low $20’s.
The all-new 2009 Dodge Challenger merges the best American muscle-car characteristics — unmistakable design, world-class handling, powerful engines and technology — to delight driving enthusiasts across several generations.
